The difference in settings creates a more interesting and exciting world for Quill and the Reader to explore. The development team shared that in Moss: Book 2 there are drastically different environments that can be explored, such as snowy mountains or the inside of the castle. There were a few different environments in Moss that helped to keep things interesting, but the overall aesthetic was limited, depicting mostly swamps or grassy areas with ruins. We've some surprises, but there's definitely plenty more opportunities to kind of have that moment of back-and-forth connection with Quill. I know one of the things people really liked were the high-fiving moments, so we tried to get a few more of those in there. We did some work expanding the reaction system for Quill, so she has more situations where she'll react and has some special reactions.
